Playa de Palma paths upgraded near Mar Jónica
Palma City Council has completed a €410,446 refurbishment of public open space and connecting paths near Mar Jónica in Playa de Palma, Palma, the council said on 21 August. The project covered the area between Mar Jónica and Mar d'Aral.
The works were intended to improve accessibility, safety and the use of the public space. They included repairs and upgrades to paving in the green area and connecting passages, renewed public-lighting ducting, a new drainage network and a new play area.
The scheme forms part of Palma City Council's programme to improve and modernise Playa de Palma, within the area's Global Action Plan.
