Mallorca among islands as 89 migrants arrive by boat

Friday’s fifth migrant boat has taken the number of migrants arriving by boat on the Balearic Islands to 89.
Guardia Civil officers and Salvamento Marítimo rescued 14 people from the boat at 18.15, one mile south of Cabrera. The Government Delegation in the Balearic Islands said those on board were from the Maghreb.
Four other boats carrying 75 people had arrived earlier in the day, reaching Mallorca, Cabrera and Formentera.
