Two jet skis and a trailer belonging to the company were destroyed, along with a private individual's car. The fire also damaged the building's metal roof, façade, windows and walls.

The business owner reported the damage to the Spanish National Police. He said there had previously been a dispute with customers who returned the jet skis with damage, and that their deposit was not refunded.

Officers from the robbery unit concluded that the fire had been started intentionally and placed one of the former customers at the scene. The man was arrested on suspicion of causing damage by fire.
