The awards’ organisers, Saint-Gobain and the Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad, say the work aims to make the seafront greener and easier to access, while improving the link between the port and the city. Road space has been reorganised to give pedestrians and cyclists priority, and street furniture has been renewed.
