Butterfly skin: Prohens meets parents in Palma

Marga Prohens meets the parents of a girl with butterfly skin on Monday at the Consolat de Mar in Palma. The girl has epidermolysis bullosa, the medical name for the condition also known as butterfly skin.
Manuela García, the Balearic Islands health minister, will join the meeting. Josefina Linareas, mayor of Alcúdia, will also attend.
Prohens is president of the Balearic Islands government. The meeting brings the family together with the regional government, health officials and Alcúdia’s mayor.
