Mallorca: Prohens to meet Iceland envoy and Redmadre

In Palma, Mallorca, Balearic president Marga Prohens is due to meet Iceland’s ambassador to Spain at 13.00 on Friday, then representatives of Redmadre Mallorca at 13.30. Both meetings will take place at the Consolat de Mar.

Ambassador Kristján Andri Stefánsson will be joined by Francisca Ramis, director general for institutional and parliamentary relations, and Joaquín Gual de Torrella, Iceland’s honorary consul in the Balearic Islands.

Redmadre Mallorca offers information and support to pregnant women facing difficulties. Its president, Maria Bel Riera, treasurer Maria Amparo Chirona and volunteer Marta Oliver are due at the second meeting, alongside Sandra Fernández, the Balearic minister for families, social welfare and dependency care.
