Mallorca's government will break ground on eight public homes in Felanitx on Thursday, at the town's former hospice. The ceremony starts at 11.30am at Carrer Sant Alfons 3. Balearic government president Marga Prohens will preside over the event.
She will be joined by Housing, Territory and Mobility Minister José Luis Mateo, Felanitx mayor Catalina Soler and Roberto María Cayuela, director of the Balearic Housing Institute (Ibavi).
The officials will sign the foundation-stone record before Soler speaks. Cayuela will then outline the project. Prohens will close the event before speaking to the media.
