Sant Josep mayoral race: Roselló enters PSOE primary

Vicent Roselló enters the PSOE primary in Sant Josep, Ibiza, on 2 September, seeking his party’s nomination for the municipality’s 2027 mayoral race. Roselló is a PSOE councillor at Sant Josep Town Hall and general secretary of the Socialist Federation of Eivissa. He says the town hall needs change and that Sant Josep should begin “a new chapter”.

His platform centres on public services, protecting local identity and the natural environment, plus dialogue and full transparency. He also wants education, infrastructure and access to housing to take a more prominent place in town hall policy.

Roselló says he will seek closer talks with local people, organisations and associations, with council management based on active listening. He says he wants capable managers to restore public trust in institutions, rather than making grand promises with no substance.

He has called on PSOE supporters in Sant Josep to take part in the primary process and back his bid to open that new chapter.
