Mallorca sailing federation turns 60: Prohens to speak

Mallorca’s Balearic Sailing Federation marks its 60th anniversary on Friday, 16 October, with a gala at the Port Center in Palma, Mallorca. Balearic government president Marga Prohens is due to close the Nit de la Vela Balear 2026 event with a speech.
Prohens is expected at 18.30. Catalina Darder, president of the Balearic Sailing Federation, will welcome her alongside Chimo González, president of the Spanish Sailing Federation, and Javier Sanz, president of the Balearic Port Authority. Tourism, Culture and Sports Minister Jaume Bauzá and Sea and Water Cycle Minister Juan Manuel Lafuente will also attend.
