Mallorca: Son Vida power works to benefit 649 customers
Mallorca’s Son Vida district in Palma: 649 customers stand to benefit as Endesa replaces underground power cables. By 14 October 2026, the company has renewed 381 metres of a planned 511 metres. It is investing €157,897 in the work.
The cables run along the medium-voltage ‘Alberta’ line between two transformer stations near Boscana and Marola streets. Endesa is also adding a new connection to the network.
The company says the changes will give the network more capacity and flexibility. That should help it respond to faults and keep the electricity supply steady in Son Vida. Endesa says the work is part of wider investment to meet growing demand for power.
