Spain election: PSOE clears lists for both houses

Spain’s 29 November general election: the Socialist Party (PSOE) clears a first hurdle for its Congress and Senate candidates in every constituency. Its lists committee backs all the candidates unanimously on Friday, 16 October 2026.
The lists are not final yet. The PSOE says its Federal Committee must ratify them on Saturday at a meeting in Fuenlabrada, near Madrid. The party says it wants to strengthen and expand a progressive majority in both houses.
