Balearic Islands weather: storms and strong winds

Balearic Islands weather is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms on Friday, 21 August, with some storms locally strong or very strong. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) said strong to very strong wind gusts could accompany the thunderstorms.

Skies are forecast to be cloudy or overcast at first, becoming intervals of cloud during the morning, with occasional showers that may still be locally strong.

Temperatures will fall, markedly in some areas. Winds will be moderate and locally strong from the south-west before easing to light or moderate northerlies.
