Children aged nine to 16 spent a week at the public La Victòria estate, taking part in educational, sporting and leisure activities in its natural setting.

Adventure stays and Menorca route

The Multiaventures Jove and Multiaventures Júnior programmes brought together 280 young people for five-day stays in Cantabria. Their activities combined outdoor adventure, sport and leisure, with opportunities to explore new surroundings, share experiences and build personal skills.

A further 50 young people are due to take part in the Camí de Cavalls programme, covering sections of the historic coastal trail on Menorca. The scheme combines hiking and group activities with learning about the island's natural heritage.

Toni Fuster, the Council of Mallorca's councillor for the presidency, said the activities were intended both to give children and young people opportunities to learn and develop during the holidays and to help families balance their responsibilities during a demanding period of the year.
