Mallorca airport handles 1,087 flights on Sunday

Palma Airport on Mallorca is scheduled to handle 1,087 flights on Sunday 30, the largest share of 1,701 planned across the Balearic Islands. Eivissa is due to operate 427 flights and Menorca 187, according to airport operator Aena.
From Friday to Sunday, the islands’ airports are set to handle 4,968 flights, 1.8 per cent fewer than in the same period last year. Palma accounts for 3,109 of those movements, most of them on Saturday and Sunday. Eivissa has 1,286 flights planned over the weekend and Menorca 573.
The pace continues on Monday, the last day of August, with 1,475 flights scheduled across the islands. Mallorca is due to handle 944 movements, alongside 378 in Eivissa and 153 in Menorca.
