Mallorca: Palma police honour man for undisclosed find

In Palma, Mallorca, police honour Radouane Azzouzi on Friday, 16 October, for a find the city calls especially significant. Palma City Council does not say what he found. The recognition comes at a Palma Local Police ceremony in Plaza Major, where officers also receive awards.

The council praises Azzouzi for his civic spirit and cooperation. Officers retiring this year receive diplomas, while those completing three decades of service receive medals with a white insignia. Officers recognised for courage and sacrifice while protecting others receive a blue insignia. Members of other security forces and city staff are also honoured for their work with the police.

Mayor Jaime Martínez closes the ceremony by thanking the force. He says its officers need the city's backing, the resources to do their jobs and continuing training.
