Water leak disrupts water supply in Palma
A water leak has disrupted supplies to homes and businesses in the Nou Llevant and Foners districts of Palma, Mallorca, since about 05.00 on 23 August. Palma City Council said repairs were under way and the service was expected to return at around 15.00.
Workers isolated part of the water network near number 32 on Manuel Azaña street to repair the fault. The number of people affected has not yet been established.
The disruption covers Ricard Ankerman, Caracas, Antoni Ribas, Manuel Azaña, Mèxic, Miquel Santandreu, Foners, Jeroni Pou, General Ricardo Ortega and Pare Miquel Mir streets.
