Mallorca: woman rescued after 4-metre fall

A 57-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after falling about four metres over rocks at S'Estany d'en Mas, in Porto Cristo, Mallorca, on Sunday.
She suffered injuries to her lower limbs in the fall. Firefighters and a Guardia Civil helicopter brought her to safety alongside medical staff from the SAMU 061 emergency service.
The woman was then transferred to Son Espases University Hospital. SAMU 061 confirmed the rescue and hospital transfer after the incident in the Porto Cristo area.
