Mallorca asks 14- to 30-year-olds to shape youth plan
Mallorca is asking 14- to 30-year-olds what matters most: their answers will help shape the island’s first youth plan. The Consell de Mallorca, the island council, is running the survey online and in person, including at the Estación Intermodal in Palma, Mallorca. The council said on 7 October 2026 that it wants to hear from people in that age group who live or have lived on the island.
The council hopes to reach young people from a range of backgrounds. Their answers will show which measures they consider most important and help determine what goes into the plan.
The survey follows talks with youth associations, youth political organisations and the Youth Council of the Balearic Islands. Mallorca’s municipalities have contributed through meetings with local politicians and technical staff. Departments across the island council have also taken part.
Those contributions, together with an assessment of young people’s circumstances on Mallorca, will form the basis of the plan. It will set the council’s priorities and actions on youth issues.
