Bella Vista
Description
Bella Vista is a viewpoint in Costa de la Calma with sweeping panoramic views over the coastline and the Mediterranean Sea.
The View
From the viewing platform, the eye travels across Paguera, the bay at Cala Fornells, and the open Mediterranean. In the evening, as the sun sinks below the horizon, the viewpoint is at its most spectacular. Two benches invite you to sit, unwind, and soak it all in well away from the crowds.
Getting There & Location
The viewpoint sits on Carrer de la Bella Vista 175–133 in Costa de la Calma. Parking is available directly on the road in front of the viewpoint, so there is no need to hunt for a space. If you prefer to arrive on foot, the spot is also reachable on a gentle walk through hilly, wooded terrain, passing Mediterranean houses and villas along the way.
Paths & Accessibility
The path is stony and unpaved, with some notable ups and downs. Along the route you will come across small rocky coves; these are not particularly suited to swimming as there is no sandy beach. A staircase that once led further down to the sea is now closed off — the steps are undermined and considered dangerous, so this area should be avoided.
