Palma: plans sought for at least 43 affordable homes
At least 43 affordable homes in Palma, Mallorca: Casa 47 is seeking firms to design them for a site on Ignasi Ferretjans Street. The tender was published on 7 October 2026, Spain’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda said. The plot covers more than 2,300 square metres.
The design contract is valued at almost €495,000. It covers initial and detailed building plans, along with studies of the ground, the site’s topography and energy efficiency. The firm chosen must also prepare waste and environmental management studies and documents needed to seek permits and licences.
The proposed homes would have one to three bedrooms and 40 to 90 square metres of usable floor space. At least four per cent must be designed to give people with disabilities access. The homes are intended to remain permanently in the state’s affordable housing stock.
Firms have until 13.00 on 9 December 2026 to submit their bids for the design work.
