Mallorca has 24,227 Airbnb and Booking listings

Mallorca has 24,227 short-let listings on Airbnb and Booking, according to a Hauspost index published on Monday. The island ranks second among 74 Spanish destinations examined in the study. Across Europe, Mallorca comes eighth out of 332 destinations.
The index records 25.8 listings for every 1,000 inhabitants on Mallorca.
Listings are not always separate homes
Hauspost counts self-contained and home-like accommodation offered for short stays as short lets. It excludes traditional accommodation businesses and listings for individual rooms.
The 24,227 adverts do not necessarily represent the same number of different properties. Hauspost says a single offer may appear on both platforms, creating overlaps in the index.
