Seven World2Fly jets get Airbus parts support

Seven World2Fly long-haul jets will receive spare parts, repairs and engineering support under a long-term Airbus deal announced on Wednesday, 23 September 2026. The agreement covers the Spanish airline’s entire current fleet: four A330s and three A350s. Airbus will hold a live spare-parts stock at World2Fly’s main base at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport in Madrid.

The package, called Airbus Flight Hour Services, is support charged by flight hour. It includes routine component swaps, repairs, reliability monitoring and engineering services.

World2Fly chief executive Bruno Claeys said the tie-up was an important move to strengthen the efficiency and resilience of its intercontinental operations, while maintaining safety and performance standards. Airbus commercial services chief for Europe Delphine Gianoglio said the airline would use the manufacturer’s technical expertise to optimise maintenance costs.
