A woman with a 51% disability in Alaior, Menorca, faces eviction: the People’s Party (PP) says Sareb has restarted the process of removing her from her home. The party raised the case on Monday, 5 October. PP MP Joan Mesquida called on Spain’s central government to find a solution before she loses her home.

Sareb is majority-controlled by the Spanish state. Mesquida accused the Socialist Party (PSOE) of speaking out about evictions and the need to protect vulnerable people while Sareb pursues this case. He also called on the PSOE’s Menorca leader, Pepe Mercadal, to explain what the party would do.
