Mallorca’s capital, Palma, hosts Madrid mayor José Luis Martínez-Almeida on Friday 6 November: he joins the People’s Party (PP) candidates for the Balearics ahead of the 29 November general election. At 16.30, he is due to meet mayors and candidates on the steps of the Olivar market, where a manifesto will be read, the party says. From 17.00, Almeida joins the party’s Balearic candidates for Congress and the Senate at a pre-election event in the café of the former Hostal Terminus.
