Andratx sets €34m 2027 budget for parking and projects

Andratx, Mallorca, has approved a 2027 budget of more than €34 million, with no votes against. The money is set to fund new parking sites, lighting and maintenance contracts, and work on major municipal projects. It is 11.91% higher than the previous year's budget.

The council says the plan focuses on improving public services, updating municipal infrastructure and putting people at the centre of local management.

Parking, care and building schemes

Andratx plans to rent new plots for parking and award fresh contracts for lighting, maintenance, the Day Centre and the municipal nursery. The Punt Verd is also due to be expanded and improved.

The budget keeps work moving on the final phase of s'Almudaina, the construction of Can Fasser, the Cas Metge project and the future Casal de Joves youth centre. The project for the future Es Vinyet sports hall has also received final approval.

Support for local groups

The council will continue its grant schemes, with particular attention to local trade, the primary sector, housing and sports clubs. Associations and other local organisations will also receive support.

Mayor Estefanía Gonzalvo said the budget continues the council's work on improving services, investing in infrastructure and staying close to local people. She said a town hall must not only build projects, but also stand alongside businesses, young people, older people, clubs and associations.
