In Palma, Mallorca, the Balearic government is preparing to open an anti-squatting office agreed with Vox: procedures to fill its staff posts are under way. Housing, Territory and Mobility Minister José Luis Mateo gave the update in the Balearic Parliament on Tuesday, 29 September. He did not give an opening date.
Vox MP Sergio Rodríguez pressed the government to honour the budget agreement. He cited older people who had found their homes occupied after leaving hospital as examples of cases the office should address.
