Mallorca art students: up to €1,600 in travel aid

Art students with a family home on Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, can apply for up to €1,600 towards travel if they studied away from their home island. Applications open at 13.00 on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, and close at 13.00 on 26 October, the Balearic Ministry of Education and Universities says.

The aid covers students who took an official undergraduate or master’s degree in higher arts education outside their home island. Those who needed to move a large musical instrument, or one with special characteristics, can also apply for up to €400 towards its transport.

The Balearic government has set aside €10,000 for the scheme: €8,000 for student travel and €2,000 for moving instruments.
