Hotel investment platform targets over 2,000 million euros
More than 2,000 million euros in hotel investment: Atalaya Asset Management and Summum Hotel Group have launched Atalum Hospitality to pursue that goal through deals shaped around each project. Europa Press reported the launch from Madrid, Spain, on 19 October 2026.
The platform will offer selected hotel opportunities to institutional investors and family offices, which manage wealthy families’ money. For owners, operators and advisers, it aims to provide ways to sell, refinance, reposition or convert hotel properties.
Its plans cover city and holiday hotels, individual properties and portfolios, conversions, serviced apartments and homes linked to hotel brands. Deals may be promoted by Atalaya Asset Management or handled on behalf of others, including in special situations.
Jairo González Monje joins as co-founder and partner to lead the hotel business. He was most recently an independent board member and expansion director at Petit Palace. He previously led Sidorme Hotels and later oversaw B&B Hotels’ business and expansion in Spain and Portugal after Sidorme’s integration into the French chain. Summum Hotel Group’s Carolina Quetglas, Javier Vich and Aurelio Vázquez will also retain prominent roles in the platform.
