Balearics salary: €2,027 average, 0.9% real rise

Average monthly pay in the Balearic Islands reaches €2,027 in 2025, up 4% on the previous year. But inflation leaves the real increase at just 0.9%. Adecco released the figures on Wednesday, 16 September.

The islands rank fifth among Spain’s autonomous communities for average pay. Only Madrid, at €2,451 a month, the Basque Country at €2,327, Navarra at €2,208 and Catalonia at €2,203 are higher.

Spain’s average stands at €2,055 a month, putting the Balearics slightly below the national figure. Still, the islands are among ten regions where pay rose faster than the Consumer Price Index, allowing the average wage’s buying power to improve. Adecco puts the rise seventh nationwide.

Spain’s statutory minimum wage is €1,381 a month. In the Balearics, that equals 68.1% of average pay, the lowest share of any region.

Adecco says the gap reflects an economy with a more varied mix of activity and higher value added.
