Balearic budget talks: Vox says both sides are open

Palma, Mallorca: Vox says both sides are willing to keep talking about the Balearic Islands’ spending cap and regional budget. The party met the Balearic Islands’ Minister for Economy, Finance and Innovation, Antoni Costa, last Friday. Vox’s spokeswoman in the Balearic Parliament, Manuela Cañadas, gave her account on 2 November 2026 before a plenary sitting.
Cañadas said the meeting was cordial and laid the groundwork for further talks. Vox came away feeling positive, she said, though there was still much to discuss. What mattered for citizens’ future, she added, was that both sides were willing to talk.
