Balearic children's rights report heads to parliament
Children's rights on Mallorca: a 2025 report covering the Balearic Islands now heads to parliament. The regional government took note of the annual report at its council meeting on Friday, 23 October 2026. Government spokesman Antoni Costa announced the next step after the meeting.
The Balearic Office for Children and Adolescents (OBIA) details its work defending, promoting and safeguarding the rights of children and teenagers across the islands. The report sets out what the office did, how it carried out that work and which areas it covered. It also records initiatives to raise awareness and prevent problems related to those rights.
