Mallorca sport groups can seek €2,900 for Balearic Day
On Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, sports federations can seek up to €2,900 each to run events for Balearic Day 2027. Applications open on Friday and close on 26 October. The funding covers sporting events on Mallorca, Menorca, Eivissa and Formentera between 20 February and 7 March.
The Balearic government says the grants are intended to encourage people to take part in Balearic Day. Eligible applicants are legally constituted Balearic sports federations registered with the islands’ Register of Sports Entities, and territorial branches of Spanish sports federations also listed there.
Applications must be submitted electronically, preferably through the Balearic government’s online office. The forms are available there and on its website.
