Palma below the regional average

In Palma, Mallorca, the average is €3,401 per square metre, below the Balearic figure but still among the highest prices for Spain’s provincial capitals. Across Spain, the average is €2,085 per square metre. National prices rose 10.6% year on year, faster than in the Balearics.

Rents rise too

The average Balearic rent reaches €20.40 per square metre per month, up 2.6% from a year earlier. Barcelona remains more expensive at €23.39, followed by Madrid at €23.14 per square metre per month.
