Balearic Islands weather: muddy showers and thunderstorms forecast

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has forecast rising temperatures, muddy showers and possible thunderstorms across the Balearic Islands on Thursday 20 August. Skies are expected to be cloudy or overcast with medium and high cloud.

Rainfall will generally be light and intermittent, although showers may become moderate from late afternoon into the evening and could be accompanied by thunderstorms. Aemet also expects a torrid night, with moderate south-westerly winds occasionally reaching strong or very strong gusts.
