Mallorca stays dry on Monday, 26 October: rain could reach the Balearic Islands on Wednesday, with heavier falls possible from Sunday. That is the forecast from Rubén del Campo, spokesman for Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). It does not say whether Mallorca itself will get rain.

North-easterly and easterly winds are expected to bring moisture into the Mediterranean on Wednesday. Temperatures across the Balearic Islands are also forecast to fall. Rain remains possible around the Mediterranean on Thursday, though the forecast does not single out the islands that day.

Light rain could return to the Mediterranean area on Friday and Saturday. From Sunday, it may grow heavier and spread across the Balearic Islands and mainland Spain’s Mediterranean coast. Some places could see heavy falls, but Del Campo says there is still considerable uncertainty about how the weather will develop.
