Mallorca tourism: Prohens to unveil Balearic project
Mallorca's hotel federation joins a meeting with TUI in London on Tuesday, 3 November, before Balearic government president Marga Prohens presents a project on tourism restraint and culture at World Travel Market 2026. Prohens and tourism, culture and sports minister Jaume Bauzá are due to present it at 11.00 at the Balearic stand. The programme calls it “Transformation of the model, tourism restraint and culture”, but gives no details of what it would involve.
The meeting with TUI starts at 09.30. Bauzá, representatives of the island councils and the mayor of Calvià, on Mallorca, are also due to attend. At 10.15, Prohens is scheduled to visit fellow exhibitors: the island councils of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera, as well as town councils and Balearic businesses at the fair.
