Banca March opens at Balenciaga’s San Sebastián address

312 square metres at a former Balenciaga workshop address: Banca March opens a new business centre on Avenida de la Libertad in San Sebastián, Spain. The bank announced the opening on 28 September 2026. One of Cristóbal Balenciaga’s haute couture workshops occupied the site from 1924.

The centre has four meeting rooms fitted with modern technology. Banca March says its design follows efficiency and sustainability criteria.

The opening comes as the bank expands in the Basque Country. Since 2018, its business volume there has grown by 75%, from 2,000 million to 3,500 million euros. Business volume at its San Sebastián branch has doubled since that branch opened. Its private banking, wealth management and business banking services have each recorded annual growth of more than 10%.
