Banca March renews ISO 27001 data security certificate

Banca March keeps its ISO 27001 data security certificate after an extensive audit of its information security system. The bank announced the renewal in a statement reported by Europa Press from Madrid, Spain, on 29 October 2026. Aenor awards the international certification.

The bank says its checks and procedures aim to reduce risks, prevent incidents and keep improving protection for customer, employee and supplier data. Its head of IT security, Javier Gayoso, says the renewal also reflects an effort to build a shared culture of cybersecurity across the bank.

Banca March says the renewal forms part of its wider work on security, technology and keeping its operations resilient as it continues its digital transformation.
