Two customers suffer minor injuries in Palma, Mallorca: part of a bar’s suspended ceiling falls onto four people inside at about 10.30am on Saturday, 31 October. The bar is on Carrer 31 de Desembre.
A man aged about 50 and a 19-year-old woman are treated by SAMU 061 medics. Local Police, National Police and Palma firefighters also attend. Firefighters remove the entire suspended ceiling and seal off the bar for safety.
Early indications suggest vibrations from building work next door may have caused the collapse, but the cause has not been confirmed.
