Formentera hospital lifts birth limits after heavy rain

The Hospital de Formentera is taking all births again on 20 October after heavy rain led it to restrict its delivery unit to urgent and emergency cases on Monday. The Pityuses Health Area says a review of conditions found the unit can operate as normal. No births have needed to be transferred in recent hours.
The health authority will keep monitoring conditions and take any measures needed to protect patients and staff and maintain care.
