Mallorca’s Palma–Cala Rajada bus 411e may run all year

Mallorca’s 411e bus between Palma and Cala Rajada could run all year, but the operator must first agree to a contract change. Balearic Minister for Housing, Territory and Mobility José Luis Mateo told parliament on Tuesday, 3 November 2026, that the government is working to extend the concession.

The plan drew criticism from Ferran Rosa, an MP for MÉS per Mallorca. He accused the government of overlooking people living in eastern Mallorca. Rosa said the route had returned in April and Mateo had promised it would stay, but argued that the service was “for tourists”.

The year-round service is not yet confirmed. The government is waiting for the operator to accept the contract change.
