Mallorca start-ups get easier access to CaixaBank finance
Mallorca tech start-ups at ParcBIT are set to get easier access to CaixaBank DayOne financial products. The Balearic Innovation and Technology Foundation (Fundación BIT) and CaixaBank DayOne signed the deal on Wednesday, 14 October, the Balearic Ministry of Economy, Finance and Innovation said.
The agreement covers businesses in Emprenbit, a programme that supports the creation of tech companies. They are based at ParcBIT on Mallorca in the Balearic Islands, CentreBit Menorca on Menorca and CentreBit Eivissa on Ibiza. As well as access to DayOne products, the start-ups will get help finding financial solutions suited to them.
The deal also lets Fundación BIT arrange access to DayOne centres. Spaces at ParcBIT will be made available for events and meetings. The partners plan discussion forums and meetings with investors, including Tramuntana Talks, which are due to take place in November.
At the signing, organisers presented the 20th EmprendeXXI awards. Awards manager Paloma Mas urged entrepreneurs and start-ups across the Balearics to prepare their entries.
