More than one million euros: work at the Cala Lledó landing on Sa Dragonera will replace its old steps with a ramp and widen the quay. The Balearic Ministry of the Sea and the Water Cycle said on Thursday, 1 October, that work is due to restart in November and finish by the end of 2026. Environmental conditions have already stopped the project twice.

The quay will have two metres of clear width, using a concrete slab and an adjoining wooden walkway. Workers will also repair its foundations, which are damaged and undercut in places, and build steps linking the platform to the top of the new ramp.

Work stopped from March to October in both 2025 and 2026 because of the environmental conditions on Sa Dragonera. Still to come are repairs to the protective rock barrier and the delivery by helicopter of a new crane for the park and a generator. The project also includes work on the existing boathouses and their launching ramps, new railings and resurfacing above the quay.
