Responsible for this content: Frank Menze
Two men flee a Civil Guard checkpoint in Calvià, Mallorca, in the early hours of 27 October. Officers stop their car shortly afterwards and find drugs and cash inside. The men, aged 22 and 36, are arrested.
The Civil Guard says its officers had signalled for the driver to stop, but the car drove on. After stopping it, they searched the vehicle and found several kinds of drugs in varying amounts, along with cash in banknotes of different values. Officers seized the drugs and money and handed the two men over to the judicial authorities.
