Can Picafort fire destroys clothing shop

A fire destroyed a clothing shop in Can Picafort, Santa Margalida, Mallorca, on Monday, 24 August. No injuries were reported, while four homes and the commercial premises were evacuated, according to the Mallorca Fire Service.

Units from fire stations in Alcúdia and Artà attended the incident. The fire completely gutted the shop, with the evacuation covering the business as well as four nearby homes.

The Mallorca Fire Service said nobody was hurt in the blaze. Fire crews were deployed to the clothing retailer after the fire broke out in Can Picafort.
