Menorca car entry and road safety in transport talks

Responsible for this content: Frank Menze

Car entry to Menorca is under discussion: island president Adolfo Vilafranca meets transport businesses on Wednesday, 28 October, with road safety and public transport also on the agenda.

The Menorca Island Council says its talks with the Balearic Transport Business Federation cover the management of vehicle inspections, known as ITV, and work to make the island’s main road safer. They also cover road maintenance, the regulation of vehicle entry and progress on new public transport operating concessions.

Vilafranca says regular, direct talks with the sector matter. Federation president Rafael Roig says decisions about transport should take account of businesses’ experience.
