On Mallorca, young women said a driver followed their cars from Inca to Mancor de la Vall, then got out and ran after them when they arrived. The women reached their homes before there was any physical contact or assault. The Guardia Civil is investigating a 27-year-old over two alleged harassment incidents, the latest on 8 August 2026.

Police said the first incident happened a few weeks earlier. In both cases, the women were driving through Inca when the suspect allegedly began following them.

He is said to have stayed close behind for several kilometres, leaving no safety distance and flashing lights during the journey. Both women were heading for Mancor de la Vall.

At their destination, the man allegedly stopped his own car and ran after them, apparently trying to catch up with them. They got inside their homes, preventing any physical contact or attack.

The Guardia Civil identified the suspect and linked him to both reported cases. The case remains open, and officers have not ruled out a connection to similar incidents in recent months.

The investigation files have been sent to the relevant judicial authority. The Guardia Civil has asked anyone who has experienced similar behaviour, or has relevant information, to file a report or contact officers.
