Mallorca car owner traps suspected thief in Sa Pobla

A car owner in Sa Pobla, Mallorca, shut a suspected thief inside his own vehicle after finding him in the driver's seat in the early hours of Tuesday. The owner had gone down to the street after hearing unusual noises and called the Guardia Civil. Officers arrested the 34-year-old on suspicion of stealing from inside a vehicle by force.
Police found the front left window smashed and the car's interior completely ransacked. They also found a backpack the suspect was carrying, containing a bent screwdriver and a torch.
