The lawyers say the house has been occupied illegally for months. During that time, they report fires, assaults, other disturbances and the death of one person. They say the situation has harmed the owners and neighbours.

Once the owners regain possession, they plan to bring in private security and seal and brick up the entrances to prevent another occupation. They then intend to clean the property and restore the house.
