Palma art show: 100 works for homeless care leavers
Palma, Mallorca: 100 artworks offer a way to help young people who have left care and are living on the streets. Anyone can take a work home from the Terreno Barrio Hotel in return for a donation. The exhibition opened on Friday, 6 November, and remains open throughout Friday and on Saturday morning.
CaixaBank donated the works. The display includes pieces linked to artists such as Marcos Irizarry and Maria Girona. Piñero Group provided space at the hotel, including its art room, coworking area and terrace.
The donations go to Natzaret, a Mallorcan charity that supports vulnerable children and young people. It will use the money to help care leavers living on the streets through the coming Christmas holidays.
